March means that we are close to the end of winter. It also means tons of great shows are coming out to keep you entertained. There are some great new shows premiering in March, including fabulous shows every week on every popular streaming service. But this March is all about the much-anticipated return of some of the year’s hottest shows.
From a popular Star Wars character to a wealthy family struggling for power to a serial killer on the hunt for his reflection, there are a variety of shows worth checking out. Not sure where to start? Here are five TV shows coming in March 2023 that you need to watch.

The Mandalorian Season 3 (March 1, Disney+)
Fresh from the massive hit series The last of usPedro Pascal is back as the title character, also known as Din Djarin, in this Space Western series The Mandalorianthe first live-action series in the war of stars Universe. Djarin and Grogu got back together Boba Fett’s book after Grogu left with Luke Skywalker to complete his training and now fans are excited to see how the story unfolds in Season 3.
This season will be packed with intense action, more Mandalorians (as Pascal confirmed in numerous interviews leading up to the premiere), fabulous costumes and special effects, and more from the adorable Grogu honing his vast skills.
You Season 4, Part 2 (March 9, Netflix)
In February, the first half of the fourth season of the hit psychological thriller took place You, and the back half of the season will stream on March 9th. With Joe (Penn Badgely) ready to engage in an intense battle with Rhys (Ed Speelers), who has quickly become his mortal enemy, fans are bracing for a return of the old Joe Goldberg. His forced and fake new identity and persona, Jonathan Moore, needs to take a back seat, at least when he’s not around others.
The second part of the season is much faster and more shocking, with plenty of twists and turns that will make your jaw drop. It’s no secret that despite his best efforts to be a better version of himself, Joe is a leopard who can’t change his spots. But fans won’t see anything coming of what’s happening.
Ted Lasso Season 3 (March 15, Apple TV+)
One of the most uplifting feel-good series on TV, Teddy Lasso manages to hide important mental health lessons behind the light-hearted and hilarious title character, played by the never-better Jason Sudeikis. The American football coach hired to manage an English football team doesn’t really know anything about football (ie English football). But he is determined to pass on his wisdom, positivity and charm to the team and lead the ailing AFC Richmond Premier League side to success both professionally and personally. However, the task turns out to be much more difficult than Lasso had imagined, as he is not exactly warmly received in England by either the team or the fans.
Returning for the third season after multiple accolades for the first two gives high hopes Teddy Lasso As the story shifts to a darker subject, Lasso’s once-timid protégé, Nathan (Nick Mohammed), now becomes his rival. This season is reportedly their last, so let’s hope they wrap things up on a good note.
Projections (March 17, Apple TV+)
These by Scott Z. Burns (Contagion, an inconvenient truth) has a fabulous ensemble cast: Meryl Streep, Kit Harington, Matthew Rhys, Daveed Diggs, Sienna Miller, Edward Norton and Marion Cotillard only scratch the surface of the many household names that will be performing. In the near future, climate change has wreaked havoc on Earth. The fate of humanity is unknown, and it seems as if humans are fighting against a ticking clock leading to an inevitable catastrophe.
extrapolations follows eight interwoven stories from around the world. Each person must make important decisions about love, work, faith, and family that affect their own lives and the lives of those around them. extrapolations is a show about coming together when everything falls apart. The first three episodes of the series will premiere on March 17, with a new episode weekly thereafter.
Succession Season 4 (March 26, HBO)
The stakes are higher than ever for Season 4 of successor when the Roy children were ambushed by daughter Shiv’s husband Tom (Matthew Macfadyen) and their once seemingly harmless cousin Greg (Nicholas Braun). With Waystar Royco’s future still at stake, the family war begins between Logan (Brian Cox) and his grown children – Kendall (Jeremy Strong), Roman (Kieran Culkin), Shiv (Sarah Snook) and Connor (Alan Ruck). – is heating up as we head towards what will undoubtedly be an explosive season.
There is also this little edition by Lukas Matsson (infinity pool‘s Alexander Skarsgård) still in the mix, trying to acquire Waystar and shredding every bit of its reputation and legacy until it becomes an unrecognizable piece of archaic history. Logan probably won’t go down without a fight, and neither will his kids. Who is in control and what will it look like for everyone involved? Season 4 of successorThe ongoing struggle for corporate power premieres on March 26th.
Yellowjackets Season 2 (March 26, Showtime)
Can several teenage girls surviving 19 months in the wild put the horrible things that happened behind them? Chances are no, and Yellow jackets explores that very premise with an ensemble cast that portrays characters as both high schoolers in the ’90s and adults in the present day. It’s clear the ladies are still grappling with the trauma of their time in the Wasteland, much of which remains a top secret. But as Season 1 drew to a close, shocking truths began to bubble to the surface.
Much will now be revealed as Taissa (Tawny Cypress) is a Senator and her wife knows the truth about her, Natalie (Juliette Lewis) has been kidnapped and Lottie is up to something sinister. Elijah Wood (Lord of the rings) joins the cast of Yellow jackets Season 2, returning on March 26th.
The Power (March 31, Amazon Prime Video)
The new British science fiction drama The power, based on the novel of the same name by Naomi Alderman, follows a unique premise: an event has occurred that gives any teenage girl the power to electrocute people. Whether they want this superpower or not, it is provided at birth, inherited from their mothers, and cannot be removed. After learning that they can use those powerful jabs in their fingertips to wake up older women as well, the state of the world changes dramatically as women, young and old, rise up to change the balance of power.
Toni Collette, Auli’I Cravalho (Moiana) and John Leguizamo star in this suspenseful series that’s literally all about female power. Like the best science fiction The power takes an intriguing, far-fetched concept and explores universal themes of identity and power.
