It’s not easy to move from one ecosystem to another; A large part of this has to do with using an unfamiliar user interface. This also applies to smartphone users who want to switch from an iPhone to an Android.
Millions of users have chosen Launcher iOS 16 (50 million downloads recently), an Android “launcher” app that makes the user interface look like the latest iOS. Of course, it would smooth out some bumps going from Apple’s ecosystem to Android.
However, many people use this to have a consistent GUI (graphical user interface) within the Android ecosystem! This is a good solution as switching from a Samsung to a OnePlus device can result in significant visual differences and it could be nice to feel “at home” on each device.
However, we haven’t crossed that threshold yet, maybe because we’re used to constantly changing the GUI. Keep in mind that this is a cosmetic change and not all iOS features or settings are reproduced. However, it is good enough that many people use it on a daily basis. So if you’re having trouble with Android’s interface, this may help.
