Apple is expected to launch a variety of new devices in the fallincluding four models of upcoming iPhone 14 series. Along with the new iPhones, the Cupertino-based tech giant will also release an updated version of the AirPods Pro.
Aside from features like fast Charging via USB-CApple is also likely to add hearing aid functionality and heart rate tracking capabilities to the new AirPods Pro 2.
A report on the AirPods Pro 2 leaked features suggests that the 2nd generation of Apple’s Pro TWS earbuds will be powered by an H1 chipset and will have support for self-adjusting active noise cancellation, or ANC.
Additionally, it adds that Apple will include a heart rate tracker and USB Type-C support alongside hearing aid capabilities. Hearing impaired users can use the second generation AirPods Pro as a hearing aid.
The AirPods Pro 2nd Gen are also said to come with a heart rate tracker that analyzes data from the inner ear and monitors heart rate and body temperature. Additionally, features like self-adjusting equalization, spatial audio, and audio sharing that are also found in the 3rd gen AirPods will be included in the upcoming 2nd gen AirPods Pro.
New renders of the AirPod Pro 2nd Gen have surfaced, suggesting that Apple will offer a USB Type-C connector with multiple openings on either side. It was previously suggested that the design of the next-gen AirPods Pro will be similar to that of the existing AirPods Pro, and the stem will also be the same size.
