The Silicon Valley-based company presents the ASK A5, an electric vertical take-off and landing vehicle (eVTOL). capable of the size of an SUV Drive on the road and fly up to 250 miles on a single charge.
ASKA announces ASKA on-demand driving service powered by a fleet of A5 vehicles. The company aims to offer its affordable, on-demand ride-hailing service in major cities by 2026, relying on a team of certified pilots.

Provided by ASKA’s proprietary drive system with lithium-ion batteries and a motor that acts as a range extenderthe A5 is equipped with retractable wings to easily switch between car and airplane mode.
The body of the vehicle consists of advanced metal materials combined with a carbon fiber structure for certified safety and strength.
According to the company “Wings and arms are designed with the necessary directional rigidity that can contain the deflection and dimensional accuracy required by the control system“.
ASKA’s in-wheel motor technology allows the A5 to perform well on the road or in the air. It provides a high driving position like an SUV and helps with ground clearance for STOL (Short Takeoff and Landing) mode. In driving mode, the wheel hub motor supports dynamic driving characteristics.

At Ubergizmo, we love flying cars, and we were expecting to finally see the updated prototype of the MACA hydrogen-powered flying racer, which was first revealed on CES 2021. Unfortunately, the company only showed a 3D rendering of it new Maca S11 yesterday at CES unveiled. According to CEO Christian Pineau, Maca is supposed to present this Maca S11 Prototype at the International Paris Air Show Le Bourget in June 2023.
