Atomic Heart, the BioShock-like shooter set in an alternate reality Soviet Union, will be released this February.
More specifically, the game will be released on February 21, 2023 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Developer Mundfish and publisher Focus Entertainment announced this news in a new and gory gameplay trailer that shows more of what to expect in the game early next year.

As you can see, Atomic Heart continues to look great in trailers and I can’t wait to finally get my hands on it in just four months, especially as a fan of BioShock. While Atomic Heart does its own thing, it’s hard not to compare it to the BioShock series given the whole alternate reality thing, the types of weapons featured here, the enemies we face, and the hand-controlled powers.
Atomic Heart was revealed years ago, and there are plenty more trailers to check out if you’re interested. Watch this 2020 gameplay trailer for a first look at the game, then watch this 2021 trailer for a glimpse of the spookier side of Atomic Heart. Find out why it’s one of our most anticipated horror games after that, and then check out this action-packed combat trailer from earlier this summer.
More information about Atomic Heart can be found here Mundfish’s official websitewhere there is information about the different editions of the game that can be pre-ordered and more.
