German automaker BMW is expected to launch its new facelifted version of the X3 in Germany on January 20. The luxury automaker has also started bookings for the 2022 BMW X3, according to a live mint Report.
According to news reports, people who book the SUV in advance will have a chance to win special 20-inch M alloy wheels worth Rs 20 lakh for free.
The new 2022 BMW X3 gets a revised exterior and interior, including an aluminum finish on the roof rails and window surrounds. The SUV also gets a new front profile and sharper LED headlights. The car will also feature a larger kidney grille.
The luxury SUV is expected to come with revised exhaust systems and bumpers. The rear lights of the X3 also have a new look and are significantly slimmer than on the previous model.
According to news reports, the BMW X3 is expected to come with 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged petrol and turbodiesel engines, which were also part of the previous model.
Although the luxury automaker is offering 3.0-litre six-cylinder petrol and diesel engines with the X3 model, the larger engines are unlikely to be part of the Indian model Hindustan times.
The X3’s 2.0-liter engines from the India model will reportedly be paired with BMW’s xDrive all-wheel drive system.
In addition, the facelift of the BMW X3 gets a digital instrument cluster, updated switchgear, a new freestanding 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and many other innovations. The SUV also gets a revised center console similar to that of BMW’s 4 Series.
