Season 2 Reloaded is live in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, bringing a new multiplayer map, more game modes, cosmetics and more. This mid-season update also includes the Tempus Torrent as the final weapon of Season 2. Here we’ll walk you through all the ways to unlock this new Marksman rifle.

How to unlock Tempus marksman rifle torrent
Part of the M4 weapon platform, the Tempus Torrent is described as a sniper rifle with impressive damage and a fast firing mechanism. This weapon can be unlocked for free with an in-game challenge for Multiplayer, Warzone 2, and DMZ, or you can purchase the weapon as part of a store bundle.
Warzone 2 and MP unlock challenge
Challenge: Get 25 double kills with sniper rifles.
This unlock challenge can be completed in multiplayer or in Warzone 2, but this will unlock faster in multiplayer. If you try this in Battle Royale, you will want it Choose Ashika Island Resurgence with trios or squads to give yourself enough opportunities to get double kills.
DMZ Unlock Challenge
Challenge: Extract the weapon from the DMZ.
The Tempest torrent can also be unlocked by a successful DMZ extraction. If a friend already has this new weapon, simply have them set the Storm Stream as an insured weapon and invite them to play with you. You can drop the weapon so you can pick it up early in the game and then all you have to do is successfully exfiltrate with the weapon. You might even get lucky and loot an enemy player who has the Tempest Torrent equipped. This DMZ unlock method works for every weapon in the game.
Save Bundle
You can completely bypass the challenges and buy the weapon directly from the shop. There is no store bundle currently available for Tempest Torrent, but it should arrive in the store sometime during Season 2 Reloaded.
