Epic has announced new details for Fortnite Grand Royale 2021. The 2021 FNCS season is over, but the Grand Royale is one last hurray for competitive players ready to compete against each other.
There is a huge prize pool at stake this year and players will have to grapple with a unique format. The fans won’t be left in the lurch either, thanks to a new Community Cup open to the public.

When does Fortnite Grand Royale start?
Fortnite Grand Royale 2021 starts on different dates depending on the region. Each date is set here:
- 11-13 November: Middle East Grand Royale qualification
- 12-14 November: Grand Royale qualifications in all other regions
- November 16: Grand Royale Community Cup of the regions NA East, NA West and Brazil
- November 17th: Grand Royale Community Cup of the regions Oceania, Asia, Middle East and Europe
- November 19th: Hype Hour Show – Aired on our UK channels
- 19.-20. November: Middle East Grand Royale Finals
- 20.-21. November: Grand Royale finals of all other regions
The broadcast times also depend on the region. Here’s when to start setting:
- North America: 3:30 p.m. ET / 12:30 p.m. PT
- EU (English, French, German, Spanish): 6:00 p.m. CET
- BR (Portuguese): 3:50 p.m. BRT
- Asia (Japanese): 4:50 p.m. JST

You can watch Fortnite Grand Royale live either Fortnite’s Twitch Channel or Fortnite’s YouTube channel. If you live outside of North America or the EU, simply go to the Fortnite channel for your respective region.
If you want to host your own stream party for the event, you can sign up watch.fortnite.com This will allow you to stream a clean feed that won’t result in DMCA deactivations and will remove all host comments.
If you want to watch Fortnite in Fortnite, Epic will stream the North America, EU, and Brazil shows (but not qualifiers) in Fortnite Party Royale.

There is more than $ 5 million up for grabs in this year’s Fortnite Grand Royale prize pool. Only the 33 best teams in each region can win a prize. Here’s what’s on the table in each region.

How to play in the Fortnite Community Cup
If you’re not exactly a pro but still want to compete against other Fortnite players, the Fortnite Community Cup is for you. Community Cup winners will also receive a special Victor Elite outfit, which can be seen above.
The Community Cup begins on November 16 for North America and Brazil and on November 17 for the EU, Oceania, Asia and Middle East regions.
Trios compete against each other in 10 matches within three hours to earn the most points by scoring eliminations and outlasting opponents. You can see the full rules here. The top-performing team in each region wins the Victor Elite outfit and the corresponding cosmetics for the back.
