In the profile menu that opens, select “Purchases and Memberships”.
You are on the Purchases and Memberships page. In the “Premium” section, click on “Manage Membership”.
The “Premium” area is being expanded. Select “Deactivate” in this advanced section.
YouTube will display a message that says you can pause your subscription instead of canceling it. To continue with the cancellation, click “Continue to Cancel” in this message box.
YouTube will now ask for the reason for canceling your subscription. Choose a reason, then click Next.
You will now see the final prompt before your subscription is actually canceled. When prompted, click Yes, Cancel.
Warning: At this point, make sure that you really want to cancel your subscription.
YouTube will unsubscribe you from its premium service and you will no longer be charged for it. Your benefits will last until the end of the current billing cycle. You are done.
