Although the Windows computer comes preset with a standard mouse cursor, not everyone is a fan. Luckily, Microsoft has a feature on Windows that allows you to set a new cursor or change your existing cursor for a newer, more refined one.
Today we’re going to do just that. We’re going to look at the different ways to optimize the mouse pointer on your Windows computer and then how you can do the same.

How to change your cursor on Windows
There’s a lot you can do to change your cursor. For example, you can completely change the cursor type, tweak the cursor scheme, or even change the cursor color or speed. So with a few tweaks here and there, you can change almost anything about your mouse pointer. If you want something completely unique, you can even import a custom mouse pointer on Windows 11.
We’ll go through them all one by one, starting with changing the individual cursor.
Change the mouse pointer on Windows
To start your mouse settings, go to start menu Search bar, type “mouse” and select it Change your mouse settings Possibility. Now in Change your mouse settingsclick on Additional mouse options.

Change the cursor speed

- Go to Devices > Mouse.
- Choose Change other mouse options.
- Now use the cursor speed Slider and set how fast (or slow) the cursor can move.
