Taking a screenshot on your Oculus Quest 2 is almost as easy as taking a screenshot on a smartphone. Simply hold down the Oculus button (which looks like an oval icon) on the right Quest Touch controller, then press the trigger on either controller.
Once the screenshot is taken, you’ll hear a screenshot sound (similar to a camera shutter), which you’ve probably heard from other devices as well. You will also receive a notification confirming that the screenshot was taken.
If the first method doesn’t work for you, there is a second, more difficult way to take a screenshot.
First, open the system menu by pressing the Oculus button on your right Touch controller. From there, select the “Sharing” tab on the bottom taskbar.
Then select the “Take Photo” button. You will see a small red dot blinking for five seconds. Once the countdown ends, a screenshot will be taken.
If you’re not sure how to view these screenshots, navigate to the home menu by pressing the Oculus button on your controller. Select the “Share” tab (like we did) to take a screenshot. Instead of selecting “Take Photo”, now select “View All”.
From here you can view any screenshots that you have taken.
When a screenshot is selected, you can then delete or share the image.
