Huawei will unveil its P30 phones in Malaysia on April 2nd.
But it looks like they have other plans for us too.
Malaysian tech site Lowyat.net has reported that the Huawei MateBook 13 will be launched along with the phones.
For the uninitiated, Huawei has been making Windows laptops for some time. Last year we saw the MateBook X, which is probably one of the best windows laptop we have ever seen.
This time they bring the MateBook 13, a good upgrade from last year’s laptop.
The MateBook 13 was shown for the first time at CES 2019 and again at MWC 2019. It takes all the best from the MateBook X with additional improvements to the overall system.
It now comes with a 2160 x 1440 13-inch IPS display with support for 100% of the sRGB color space, an Intel Core i7-8565U processor, 8 GB of RAM, an Nvidia GeForce MX150 and 512 GB of SSD storage.
While they may have taken the screen a notch down, they made up for it with upgrades to a newer processor.
For all music junkies, you’ll be happy to know that the laptop supports Dolby Atmos through the headphone jack, so you can fine-tune the sound to your liking for the best audio listening experience.
If you have a Huawei or Honor phone that supports NFC and EMUI 9.0, you can use the Huawei Share 3.0. This feature allows you to transfer files and folders between your phone and computer by simply placing the phone on the laptop.
Huawei has claimed that the MateBook 13 can give you 10 hours of video playback and comes with a fast charger that gives you 2.5 hours of battery life with just 15 minutes of charge.
Stay tuned as we will attend the launch tomorrow and update this page with prices.
