When Apple launched the iPhone 13 series, the company was rather vague about the phones’ battery life, except that it will be around 1.5-2.5 hours better compared to previous models. We found out the more precise sizes later, and it turns out Apple’s claim of 2.5 hours better battery life wasn’t an exaggeration.
This comes from a battery test by Mrwhosetheboss on YouTube, where he compared the entire iPhone 13 series to its predecessors to see how it adds up, and the results are actually pleasantly surprising as the iPhone 13 has the test Pro Max managed to get almost 10 hours of battery life (9 hours 52 minutes to be exact).
Even the smallest of the iPhone 13 series, the iPhone 13 mini, lasted 6 hours and 26 minutes. Compared to older iPhones like the iPhone 12, which only managed 5 hours and 54 minutes, while the iPhone 11 only managed 4 hours and 20 minutes. The iPhone SE 2020 was a bit disappointing at just 3 hours and 38 minutes.
It should be noted that this can hardly be called a scientific test and does not necessarily reflect real world usage, but it is clear that the battery in the iPhone 13 Pro Max is a beast and if you are looking for a reason to upgrade it could be the battery life alone be a reason enough.
