The iPhone 14 is slated to launch in late September and is in the pipeline ahead of ramping up production across the industry. As information spreads throughout the supply chain, more and more information comes out.
First, iPhone 14 renders show a virtually unchanged design, at least superficially. However, EverythingApplePro has done a thorough inspection using the phone’s purported 3D schematics and reports some changes in microphone placement, corner radius and the narrower bezel.
The new bezel could allow Apple to have a slightly smaller overall screen, something other leaks have mentioned. The rounded corners might be a slow evolution/unification to match the Apple Watch Series 7 and might require a new generation of protective cases for a tight fit.
On the rear, the main camera could jump to 48MP, and if Apple used the full resolution in daylight, it would result in impressive gains in detail and texture. However, sticking to 12 MP would “only” bring minor quality improvements in these areas. The other two cameras are similar to the existing setup but could have upgraded lenses.
Inside, an A16 Bionic processor would power the phone along with 6GB of RAM and more than 128GB of storage. We expect Apple’s computing platform to be excellent, and there’s no reason to see any variance here.

Price-wise, the base version starts at $1099, which is the first sign that literally everything is getting more expensive in these inflationary days. It would be nice for those waiting for USB-C integration, but I’m not holding my breath.
