OnePlus is ready to release a brand new line of smartphones called the Ace in China, its largest market. There’s also a strong possibility that OnePlus will launch the device in India as well. However, there’s a very good chance the new device will be sold as the OnePlus 10R in India, rather than launching a whole new line, the ‘mid-range’ variant of their flagship range.
The OnePlus Ace may be an entirely new line for the Chinese market, but for India it’s likely to be rebranded as the 10R.
The new OnePlus Ace will be officially available to buyers in China from April 21st. Keen-eyed users who have been keeping a close eye on OnePlus and recent developments around them claim that the new OnePlus Ace (or OnePlus 10R) is basically a rebranded Realme GT Neo3.
The device is powered by the brand new MediaTek Dimensity 8100 with up to 12 GB of RAM. In terms of storage, multiple leaks suggest that the base models of the phone will come with 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage and 6GB of RAM. All of this is powered by a 4500mAh battery that supports a whopping 150W charger.
According to a leaked Geekbench review, The phone managed 962 single-core points and 3,819 multi-core points.
The rear camera is a triple shooter setup, housing a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS alongside an 8-megapixel ultrawide snapper and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The ribbed surface under the camera body gives it a unique look. The device looks particularly good in black. Users also have the option to opt for a silver color scheme.

Photos from the Chinese launch event suggest the Alert Slider has been dropped. We also see an IR sensor on the top of the device.
One worrying aspect of OnePlus’ upcoming device is the apparent lack of an alert slider. People who have been using OnePlus phones for a while love this nifty little feature. However, it is highly unlikely that excluding an alert slider will be a deal-breaker for most potential customers.
Although OnePlus didn’t reveal what the device looks like from the front, multiple leaks from the past suggest that OnePlus is offering users a 6.7-inch 120Hz FullHD+ AMOLED screen with a center punch-hole showing the 16 megapixel front shooter.
The photos from the Chinese launch event of the OnePlus Ace suggest that the phone will come with an IR sensor on top. However, when the OnePlus Ace comes to India as the OnePlus 10R, there is a strong possibility that the sensor will be dropped.
