According to Panasonic, “nanos” are nano-sized electrostatically atomized water particles generated by applying a high voltage to water in the air and contain hydroxyl radicals (highly reactive components) that easily act on various substances. The hydroxyl radicals have been proven to inhibit pollutants and reduce the intensity of odors.
The USB-powered device cleans car cabins almost silently (36 decibels) in around two hours. The nanoe X is an after-market product that can be manually inserted into the cup holders of most vehicles.
The nanoe X air purifier is certified by the California Air Resource Board (CARB), Underwriters Laboratories (UL), and the Electrical Testing Laboratory (ETL), two certifying bodies for US safety standards for lighting, electronics, materials, and equipment.
