Niantic announced that players from around the world worked together this weekend to complete the Global Challenge during Pokemon Go Fest: Seattle. Due to everyone’s hard work, Niantic is rewarding players with Ultra Hisuian Discoveries and the Hisui Discoveries Raid Day.
During the event, friendship levels increase faster than usual through gifts, trading Pokémon, or fighting together in raids, arenas, or trainer battles. Players can also open up to 45 gifts per day, send 150 gifts per day, and store up to 30 gifts until the end of the event.
Players can expect to encounter Pokémon like Panpours in the wild and in raids, and Unown S* in raids. On July 31 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. local time, players can also participate in the Ultra Unlock: Hisui Discoveries Raid Day. Players participating in the raid can witness the debut of the Hisuian Braviary. During the raid, players have an increased chance of encountering a Shiny Hisuian Braviary.
Also, there are event bonuses like an increased chance of getting Rare Candies XL from on-site Raid Battles, you get five free Raid Passes, and 50% more XP for winning Raid Battles.
