Working with Google, Prasar Bharati has announced that it will remove all rogue applications impersonating All India Radio and Doordarshan and using their content illegally. Now other similar applications have been identified and are in the process of being taken down by Google.
The Indian public broadcaster said it will soon take legal action against such impersonators who illegally use Doordarshan and All India Radio content on their apps, websites, YouTube channels or other platforms
