PUBG New State, the new battle royale game for mobile devices, will be released on November 11th, as announced by Krafton. It will be released on iOS and Android in more than 200 countries that day.
A final technical test is on May 29-30. October planned. Krafton announced the release date this week as part of an online showcase in which the studio PUBG also promises: New State would have a “strong and consistent pipeline of new content, global service support and anti-cheat measures”.
Set in 2051, PUBG New State is described as a “complete, no-compromise battle royale game” and one of the “most realistic and technically advanced mobile games to date”.
“PUBG: New State inherits the core of the PUBG-IP and will in and of itself be competitive in the world market,” said Krafton CEO CH Kim. “Krafton will continue to produce games that gamers all over the world will enjoy. We are committed to delivering an enhanced experience based on the belief that games will become the most powerful kind of media.”
PUBG: New State will launch four different maps, including the game’s original setting, Erangel. Players can expect regular updates with new content over time.
Krafton also spoke about the game’s anti-cheat measures. The game “prohibits unauthorized programs, emulators, keyboard and mouse, and actively detects and restricts hacks to prevent fraud and protect the game’s code”.
PUBG: New State kicks off November behind a lot of hype and anticipation as the game has already received more than 50 million pre-registrations, Krafton said.
