On July 13, 2021, Rockstar Games caved Red Dead Online Fans new content with the blood money To update. Since then, the community has patiently awaited major updates, but received next to nothing. On Wednesday, fans declared the game dead and invited each other to log into the game to drink at Valentine and Blackwater Graveyard and post screenshots of their characters dressed in black and pay their respects to the game on social media.

The sad gesture follows a statement Rockstar made at one point blog entry confirmed last week that no new material will be added Red Dead Online in an effort to shift its focus to the development of grand theft auto 6 It won’t be a sunset Red Dead Online per se, but will continue to support the game by building on existing material and adding new Telegram missions instead of adding new story content.
“Alongside seasonal special events and experience improvements – plus other changes to improve and maintain healthy health Red Dead Online Environment – this year we plan to build on existing modes and add new Telegram missions instead of providing big thematic content updates like in previous years,” said the developer.
It is possible that the popularity of GTA Online – as well as Rockstar, who goes full throttle grand theft auto 6 – possibly overshadowed Red Dead Online since GTA Online was bound grand theft auto 5that came out five years ago Red Dead Redemption 2. Rockstar’s priorities were clear when it released GTA+ for GTA Online Earlier this year, it allowed players to enjoy the perks that came with subscribing to the game – a privilege that hasn’t been extended to Red Dead Online.
Red Dead OnlineThe player base has certainly dwindled recently, but Rockstar’s lack of support has left dedicated fans feeling burned. Imbalance is the real tragedy that brought fans to the graveyard today.
