Samsung has started Send invitations to the Galaxy A event, where it will showcase its latest mid-range smartphones in the lineup. The tech giant unveiled the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 on the same day last year, and a few months later launched the A52s, an updated version of the A52 with a newer processor, in select regions. You can follow the event at Samsung website or that of the company Youtube channel on March 17 starting at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time.
The event comes just over a month after Samsung unveiled its flagship Galaxy S22 series in the first Unpacked event of the year. Alongside the S22 and S22+, the company also introduced the Galaxy S22 Ultra, which is the consolidation of the Galaxy S and Note lines. The S22 Ultra has the Note’s rectangular silhouette and an integrated slot for the accompanying S Pen, while the other models have the traditional look of the previous S-Line devices.
Samsung also recently released the Galaxy S21 Fan Edition with a 6.4-inch screen and a slightly cheaper price than its standard counterparts. However, if we are talking about phones in the same price range as the Galaxy A range, there is the new iPhone SE that Apple unveiled on March 8th. The new budget-friendly SE model supports 5G connectivity and features an updated chip, but looks almost identical to its predecessor. It will be available March 18 for $429.
