If your bank account is still suffering from the various winter games that took place this past holiday season, you might want to hide your wallet as Steam is back with another one. valve started the Steam Lunar New Year Sale today, and while it won’t last as long as the Steam Winter Sale, it appears to be offering just as many discounts on PC games.

Those who have been present at previous Steam sales probably know what to expect now. While Steam features new special offers on the store’s homepage every day, the discounts are available for the entire duration of the Lunar New Year Sale. The sale itself runs from now through February 3, 2022, giving you a full week to snag any deals that might catch your eye.
Valve usually offers some sort of carrot-on-a-stick promo to get people to visit the store daily during a sale, and this time is no different. Steam users can claim a random Lunar New Year themed sticker any day until February 3rd by navigating to the Steam Points Shop, where you can also purchase Lunar New Year profile wallpapers, icon animations, stickers, and chat emotes with the ones you created collected points have saved.

Unfortunately, there isn’t a trading card set for the Lunar New Year Sale, as these are generally reserved for the larger summer and winter deals. It looks like the collector-obsessed among us will have to settle for claiming the free sticker every day.
Some of the featured deals that stand out include Eternal doom for $19.79 (67% off), Disco Elysium: The Final Cut for $15.99 (60% off), Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous for $39.99 (20% off) and Last days for $29.99 (40% off). Steam users can search the Steam homepage for game recommendations based on the titles they already play, or dive into the interactive Recommender to apply specific filters to their search for a new game.
Unfortunately, some recent releases aren’t included in this sale, although that’s not exactly shocking. For example, the recent ports of God of War and Monster Hunter Ascension are still listed at full price while other new releases like ForzaHorizon 5 and the Halo infinity Promotion only small discounts (10% or 20%).
Still, there are plenty of good deals you can take advantage of, so be sure to check out these wish lists and front page recommendations. The Steam Lunar New Year Sale ends on February 3, 2022 at 10:00 am PST/1:00 pm EST.
