Tesla delivered 310,048 vehicles in the first three months of 2022, according to the automaker on Saturday. “This was an exceptionally difficult quarter due to supply chain disruptions and the China Zero Covid policy,” Musk said on Twitter shortly after Tesla shared the news.
In the first quarter, Tesla also shipped vehicles from its $5.5 billion Gigafactory in Grenheide, Germany. The company plans to produce 500,000 cars per year at the plant.
