Apple’s online store is currently unavailable.
Usually this happens before product launches, but this time we’re not sure if that’s the case.
The Apple Store is only down in the US and available in other markets, which is strange for a product launch. However, a new Apple product was due to launch, and Apple said it should launch in July: the new M2-equipped MacBook Air.
The only problem with this is that we’ve heard that the MacBook Air will likely launch on July 15th, with pre-orders starting on July 8th. Maybe Apple is getting its Store ready to launch a little earlier than planned, or we’ll see the new MacBook Air sooner than expected.
As 9to5Mac.com notes, Apple’s online store went out a week before and not immediately before the start of pre-orders for the M1 iPad Pro, which is in line with our expectations for the launch of the M2 MacBook Air. The site also notes that Apple often adds new products to its Store on Fridays.
