The Apple Watch is currently available in two different sizes. For example, the Series 7 comes in 41mm and 45mm sizes, but according to DCSS’s Ross Young, he claims Apple could expand those options to up to three different sizes with the 2022 Series 8 models. That means we’re essentially talking about small, medium, and large sizes for the Apple Watch Series 8.
Young doesn’t give any details about the new sizes, but his tweet suggests that Apple might actually launch one with an even bigger display. This means that the 41mm will maintain its position as the smallest model in the future, at least as far as the more recent models are concerned, without taking into account the Series 3 that are still sold.
Don’t be surprised if there will be 3 sizes next year …

The 45mm Apple Watch is actually a pretty decent size for those with slightly larger wrists or who prefer a bigger display, so we’re not sure how much bigger Apple could go without making the watch too bulky.
There were also rumors that Apple might introduce a new design to the Apple Watch range. It was originally rumored that these designs were for the Series 7, but when the watch officially launched these designs were nowhere to be seen. It was later suggested that these leaked designs were actually for the Series 8, but we suggest you keep doing this with a grain of salt for now.
