The Apple Watch SE The 2nd generation is already the cheapest option on the market, but at a rock-bottom price at the moment. The 40mm model is down 12 percent from the usual $249 to $219. Comparatively currently the series 8 is $329 (also on sale) and the Ultra is $769.
The Apple Watch SE has most of the same features as its counterparts at a much lower price. It’s swimproof, has fall and fall detection, and offers heart rate alerts – to name a few. The SE is available in Midnight, Starlight, and Silver colors with matching straps. It’s a good choice for someone who wants the looks and benefits of a smartwatch without paying for extras. You can also use your savings to get an Apple Watch screen protector or case.
Depending on what you want an Apple Watch for, you might not even notice the few perks the SE lacks. Unlike the Series 8 or Ultra, it doesn’t have a blood oxygen or EKG app. The two higher-end watches also offer temperature measurement and IP6X dust resistance.
