Ever wanted a fresh burger made on site for you? Then if you happen to live in New Jersey, you might want to head over to the Jersey City Newport Center Mall because it looks like they just installed a brand new vending machine called the RoboBurger.
While fast food places are a dime a dozen, the RoboBurger makes it easy for anyone in the mood for a burger as a snack while strolling through the mall. The vending machine not only dispenses pre-made burgers, it actually contains all the ingredients needed to prepare and assemble a burger, which it can do in about 6 minutes.
It will grill the patty while the bun is toasting, and customers can even choose what type of sauces they want to go with the burger. For those a bit concerned about cleanliness, there’s a built-in cleaning system that appears to meet standards set by the National Sanitary Foundation.
We don’t know how the burger actually tastes, but the idea of having a burger cooked and served to you via a vending machine is fairly new, and you can even pay with contactless payments like Apple Pay or Google Pay, so it’s pretty much it comfortable. The company behind the machine says they plan to expand the RoboBurger’s availability to airports, colleges, and more venues in the future, so keep an eye out for them.
