When you think of iconic rock bands, you don’t think of the Rolling Stones. And now the British band has a new fan: the robot dog spot from Boston Dynamics. In the company’s latest video, we can see the robot “dancing” to the tune of the Stones Start me up.
The side-by-side video shows Mick Jagger playing the 1981 music video on the left and Spot doing his thing on the right. And while the rest of the Stones invade the video, so do additional robots, creating a pretty accurate replica of the fantastic music video (well, as accurate as it can be).
See, the Rolling Stones in chic elastane! And while Spot and his three companions aren’t wearing fancy outfits, it looks like they are having a lot of fun dancing around. However, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen the Boston Dynamics bots dance – we’ve seen another model dance a choreographed routine Do you love me of The Contours. And the last time we checked in with them, one of their robots was doing a largely polished parkour run. What will you think of next?
