Niantic has revealed the next location for Pokemon Go Fest 2022with an event taking place Friday, July 22 through Sunday, July 24 in Seattle, Washington. The upcoming event will be held at both Seattle Center Park and the city of Seattle itself, with each day split into two sessions at the two locations.
The event is paid and, unlike other Pokemon Go events, is only open to people who can attend in person in Seattle. Tickets are now availablewhich sells for $25 for a single day, with attendees only being able to purchase tickets for one day of the three-day event.
With the two locations, ticketing is a bit more complicated than most Pokemon Go Fest events. Coaches can either purchase a morning session, which means they spend the first half of the day in the park and the second half in the city, while an afternoon session sees the players in the city first and the park in the afternoon.
Players who purchase a Seattle Pokemon Go Fest ticket can enjoy various experiences and bonuses whether they are in the park or in town. At Seattle Center Park you can see:
- Complete the event-exclusive Special Research to encounter Sky Forme Shaymin on your Seattle Center Park adventure.
- Explore four real-life habitats – two of which are unique to the Seattle event. Each habitat contains unique Pokémon and its own collection challenge.
- cloud sanctuary: Reach for the sky like the legendary Space Needle and soar through the clouds with Togetic, Woobat, Rufflet and more!
- the oasis: Looking for a tropical respite amidst the hustle and bustle of downtown Seattle? Kick back with Alolan Exeggutor, Sand Cloak Burmy, Gible, Panpour and more.
- Dreamy landscape of thoughts: Feeling a bit Drowzee? Hoping to take a nap with Teddiursa? Why not take a little nap with Pokemon like Snorlax and Litwick? To sleep well!
- electric garden: A fantastic garden with a distinct noise in the air. Pokemon like Hisuian Voltorb, Combee, Foongus, and Helioptile are drawn to this space.
- Be sure to visit the trading post to meet and trade with Trainers at the Event or compete with other Trainers battlefield.
- Enjoy a wealth of personal photo ops—including a chance to take a photo with Pikachu or Eevee!
