Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has finally announced the price of Hilux in India. The robust pick-up is priced between Rs 33.99 lakh and Rs 36.80 lakh (all prices are showroom-ex-show). There are three variants to choose from – 4×4 (MT) Standard, 4×4 (MT) High and 4×4 (AT) High. In case you are wondering, the medium variant costs Rs 35.80 lakh (ex showroom).

Worldwide, the Hilux has passed the sales milestone of 20 million units in over 180 countries. For more than five decades and eight generations, the Toyota Hilux has made a name for itself in the rugged world of off-road driving. It’s also known as one of the most reliable cars in Toyota’s vast stable. Additionally, off-road enthusiasts will be pleased to know that this Hilux comes equipped with a water fording capability of 700mm.
This latest iteration is based on the Innovative Multi-Purpose Vehicle (IMV) platform and is powered by the same 2.8-liter four-cylinder diesel engine as the Fortuner. It is available with a choice of six-speed manual or six-speed automatic. The MT variants produce 204 hp and 420 Nm of torque, while the AT variant produces 80 Nm more torque, bringing the figure to 500 Nm.
To enable an immersive digital experience, the virtual Toyota showroom allows customers to enjoy the Hilux from the comfort of their own home.
