Are you looking for a Windows 10 laptop in the MacBook Air form factor?
The popular phone manufacturer Xiaomi has announced that it will present its fourth Mi Notebook Air with Windows 10.
The company posted a vague teaser on theirs Weibo account this shows a scale with 1.07 kg written on it next to an unveiling date of March 26th.
The previous Mi Notebook Air was equipped with either a 12.5-inch or 13.3-inch screen and weighs 1.07 kg and 1.3 kg, respectively. Selected models support 4G connectivity, so you are always connected to the Internet even without WiFi.
It also comes with a low-power Intel Core processor that only requires 7 watts of power for the 12.5-inch variants.
This made it possible for Xiaomi to develop these thin laptops that did not need fans as the heat generated was insignificant.
The 13.3-inch models were equipped with a slightly more powerful processor that required 15 watts of power, but was still kept slim.
The 13.3-inch model measured 309.6 mm x 210.9 mm x 14.8 mm and the 12.5-inch model was 292 mm x 202 mm x 12.9 mm.
It’s not sure if the weight they teased applies to the 13- or 12-inch variant, or if they’ll even bring out other models. We can only wait for the reveal for more information.
