You have one week to save $400 on Meta Quest Pro

Just three months after its launch, the Meta Quest Pro is getting a massive $400 discount. This brings the price down to just $1,099. But if you want big savings on Meta’s “professional” VR headset, you’ll need to take advantage of this offer before the end of the week.

After CNET, this deal only lasts “one week” in the United States, meaning it ends on February 5th. (However, UK customers can purchase the Quest Pro for the reduced price of £1,300 until February 12th.)

Unfortunately, the Meta Quest Pro might not feel like a significant upgrade over the Quest 2. It’s a comfortable headset with full-color passthrough video and several other improvements, but it’s not necessarily the best option for gaming and suffers from many small issues (that still haven’t been fixed). Realistically, this is a guinea pig for hardcore VR enthusiasts – it may or may not suit you.

And even with that discount, the Quest Pro is more than double the price of the Quest 2. Those just getting into VR should seriously consider the Quest 2, as it’s only $400 and has similar features to that Quest Pro offers.

This deal also ends on February 5th. Enthusiasts interested in the Quest Pro should take advantage of this offer before it’s too late. But if you’re new to this stuff, check out Quest 2 before you spend any money.
