Google is giving Stadia users some consolation prizes before shutting down the game streaming service on January 18th. At the beginning it is planned release a tool that enables Bluetooth support on the Stadia Controller. You’ll have to wait until next week to download it, but that should make the device useful for almost any title with gamepad support, as long as the platform even recognizes the hardware.
The company also has released a Line Clone, worm game, as a final “thank you” to the users. It’s a simple project that the Stadia team has been using for testing since launch, but it might be worth a shot if you want to give the service a proper send-off.

You’re out of luck if you’ve played destiny 2 on Stadia, however. Bungie already has it shut down destiny 2‘s Stadia server and gives players until January 18 to enable Cross Save and migrate their characters elsewhere. The developer too warns that you should disable Cross Save after the 18th “for no reason” as long as Stadia is your primary account.
These last-minute announcements probably won’t come as a shock. Google announced its closure plans in September and began refunding in November. Other game studios have also been helping with the changeover for weeks. IO Interactive recently released a promised progression carryover tool for hit man Gamers, while Ubisoft offers free PC copies of games purchased through Stadia. If you hadn’t made the jump yet, you were probably preparing for it.

Still, it’s a bittersweet moment – the news is a reminder that Google’s most ambitious gaming initiative is almost over.
